Sean Taylor of the Redskins died after suffering from a shot

PALMETTO BAY, Florida-half Safety Sean Taylor, Washington Redskins, died early Tuesday morning after being reached on the eve of a shot in what police described as an intrusion of residence. He was 24 years old

A family friend, Richard Sharpstein, revealed that the father of Taylor told the sad news to 5:30.

He added that Taylor died at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, where he had been helicopter shortly after the attack, on Monday morning.

Doctors had detected an encouraging sign, in the late afternoon on Monday, when Taylor shook his hand somewhat of a nurse who was at his bedside, according Vinny Cerrato, the vice president of football operations Redskins. But Sharpstein stressed he was told that Taylor had never regained consciousness after being taken to hospital.

Taylor was suffering from a shot in the upper leg, damaging an artery and caused significant bleeding.

Just hours after the death, a black banner was installed at the entrance of Redskins Park in Virginia, and No. 21 was painted in white and gold on the lawn outside the main entrance to the site training.
