ANC 2008 – Egypt: Mido absent
The International Middlesbrough Egyptian Ahmed Hossam Mido, 24, will not dispute the African Cup of Nations 2008, which will be held in Ghana from 20 January to 10 February.
The ex-Marseillais shot in the groin, will not help his country to defend the title in 2006 at home.
The Pharaohs are part of Group C with Cameroon, Sudan and Zambia.
